Airport

The regional airport is within one mile from the Cedar City Industrial Park and located directly next to the Airport Industrial Park. Regular flights are offered to Salt Lake City on Delta's Sky West Airlines.

Railroad

Rail access, provided by Union Pacific, is county-wide and offers a 21-mile branch. A common dock is available to manufacturers in Cedar City, about two miles from the Industrial Park. Contact Dick Rauschmeier, business manager, at (435) 387-2291 or (435) 387-2231.

Trucking

Cedar City is a hub city to many common freight carriers including Yellow Freight, Consolidated Freightways, Motor Cargo, and Valley Cargo. Published federal tariff rates are about $1.25 per mile, but all freight companies will negotiate much better rates. Several private carriers are available in the city and the area to meet your transportation needs. Local freight companies range in size from Parker-Cox of St. George with a fleet of some 50 trucks to smaller carriers such as Mountain West Milk Transport.

Overnight

All major overnight express carriers such as Airborne Express, Federal Express, UPS and Pony Express serve the Cedar City/ Iron County area. UPS and Fed-Ex run hub operations at the Cedar City Regional Airport with stationed aircraft for daily service.
