Cedar City sits at 5,846 feet above sea level, and is the largest city in Utah's Iron County. Cedar City is located about 250 miles south of Salt Lake City and about 170 miles north of Las Vegas right along Interstate 15. The population, as of 2013, is 29,162. The population of Iron County as of 2013 is 46,780.
